About the training
This official training, certified by the Government of Andorra, lasts 9 hours over 2 days. It is aimed at technical teams and managers responsible for the maintenance of facilities at risk of legionella proliferation. The goal is to train professionals to prevent and control this risk through technical knowledge and regulatory compliance.
What will you learn?
- Characteristics of legionella and legionellosis (symptoms, diagnosis, and epidemiology).
- Applicable legislation and definition of high-risk facilities.
- Design and control of maintenance and prevention plans.
- Water treatment: scale, corrosion, and disinfection protocols.
- Occupational hazards related to chemical and biological agents.
- Practical measures to ensure safe installations.
Methodology
The course consists of theoretical sessions supported by PowerPoint presentations and visual materials. 100% attendance is mandatory. A final exam is included, which must be passed with at least 60% correct answers.
